Our car just hit 70,000 miles on Monday...hey, what did you think we were going to announce! The day before, Dave was so excited to see it hit 70,000 that he almost drove it the last 25 miles to see it happen. I was actually the lucky driver when it hit the magical number. Unfortunately, I was too preoccupied with getting to my internship on time that I completely missed it.
We felt this moment was blog worthy because last week we went through the refiners fire getting the car ready for safety's and emissions. Our little Acura Integra now sports a great looking windshield, new brakes, an oil change, and lucky for us it still has the same great tires! We have come away from the experience with a new mechanic that we think is pretty great. Happy 70,000 miles!

70k down . . . another 130k to go! My old '95 Honda Accord just crossed over the 200k mark this summer - I'm going for another 100k, it has to last through Matt.
