Chadds Ford Pennsylvania

I finally took some pictures of where we are living. When I was walking around taking the pictures it was a gorgeous day. I was so excited to post the pictures so that I could show everyone just how beautiful it is out here. After I got back to our apartment I realized that all the pictures basically look the same...trees, trees, and more trees. If you have never been in Pennsylvania then it is hard to appreciate just how many trees can cover the ground.

Last Wednesday, as Dave and I were driving to his house, he informed me that when Heavenly Father created the earth he took so much time making Pennsylvania beautiful he had to hurry to make the other states thus no other state can match PA. I'll let you guys be the judge of that!

This a picture of our apartment building. The building is so gigantic I couldn't fit the whole thing! Along with this building there are at least seven other buildings...yes they are all part of the same complex.

The typical scenery in Chadds Ford, trees!

This is an awful picture because I was taking it in our apartment through a screened window. Dave and I live on the fourth floor! Good thing we didn't have to move any furniture.

There are a million places to shop and eat in Chadds Ford but from the window it looks like we live in a small town. The road in front of our apartment takes you straight down to Delaware in two minutes. Why would I mention that? Well, in Delaware there is no sales tax! You pay $1.99 and you're going to get that penny back.

Wow, so beautiful! You are too kind, thank you for all the compliments. How about you call sometime and lets have a "catch up" chat! I'm home all day! Can't wait to hear about everything!

I'm so jealous! It looks so pretty out there. I have never been to PA before, but I did do my 5th grade state report on it and know that the rhododendron is the state flower :) Are you gonna visit Hershey any time soon? Good luck with this next big chapter in your life!
