Summer Obsessions

Just in the last week, two of my "summer obsessions" came to a quick end. On Sunday I finished the last book of the Twilight series Breaking Dawn. I was so anxious to finish the book I finished it in just a day and a half. After talking with one of my friends I'm not sure I retained much of the books plot but if I were a critic I would give the book 2 stars. I guess I kept comparing it to Harry Potter, since that was my crazy obsession last summer, and it just fell short of my expectations. Don't get me wrong everything I wanted to have happen did but I guess I was looking for some heart break...oh well, I guess the last chapter is titled "Happily Ever After" and that's exactly how it ended. At least I don't have to dream at night about what's going to happen between Bella and Edward...kind of pathetic I know!


Wednesday and Thursday night was the season finale of So You Think You Can Dance (what a mouth full). Some of my "summer friends" got me hooked on the show so of course I been watching it religiously all summer. I was really happy that Josh won because he was an incredible dancer...I was also happy that he didn't have his hair in a pony tail and he finally had his braces removed. Does anyone know if there is something going on between him and Katee? It's been driving me crazy but I guess I am a sucker for a love story!

Well, snap back to reality (oh there goes gravity...name that song)! Dave just hit 100 sales today...wahoo. I am busy busy at work and we have tickets to go see the Eagles play at the end of the summer and we will be seeing Lion King on Broadway in New York City! I love that we're graduated!
