It has been such a blessing to move back to Utah and have multiple temples within 20 minutes of where we live. Dave and I have been trying to "make up" for the summer in PA where you had to drive over two hours to get to a temple (I've been too spoiled).
During General Conference, this last weekend, we were so excited for the announcement of the Philadelphia PA temple. The members of the church are so ready for a temple closer to them. I also couldn't help but think that not only is this temple for the members but will provide amazing mission opportunities as people watch this gorgeous temple built and then dedicated. We can't wait to see the progress they will make on it over the next few years!
The temple is a house of God. A place of love and beauty...

I loved being able to go to all of the Utah Temples! Here in Idaho Falls we live less than five minutes away. It is so nice to be so close!

We are extremely excited for the Philadelphia temple!!! It will be built in downtown Philadelphia on North Broad St. just south of Spring Garden St. It will be a multiple story building that will be used as a temple, stake office, chapel, and mission office.
