Without realizing it our family has made going to St. George a Thanksgiving tradition. I love the red rocks, palm trees, and sun. When Dave and I were first married I was worried that a boy from beautiful green PA wouldn't like the desert but I was wrong. After three Thanksgivings with my family he still loves it.
We stayed in the usual place, Las Palmas. I remember this place from my childhood because of the blue railing. We ate Thanksgiving at the condo with my grandma, grandpa, aunt, uncle and cousins. That night we went swimming, another plus about St. George, we swam in an outdoor pool in November.
We went hiking in Snow Canyon and enjoyed the beautiful weather.
I love Ty's expression...all I wanted was a normal picture!
I love this picture just because the red rocks are amazing and that guy in the red shirt is pretty good lookin' too.
Dave and I stayed most of the afternoon on Saturday to do some more hikes. We did a short walk to Jenny's Canyon and then another hike out to the 3 pools.
Jenny's Canyon
What a great Thanksgiving...I wonder what we'll be doing next year?

I'm hoping next year you'll be pregnant or taking care of a baby...?! :) Looks like you had fun, and that's crazy that you saw Elder Holland at Chuck-a-Rama! You guys have good luck seeing people while you eat! I have to admit, I'm kind of jealous that you and Dave have been able to do so much hiking lately. I'm glad you're taking advantage of the fact that there's still just the two of you. (Though having a baby is wonderful, of course!)
how fun! st george is the best! i didnt know you were from st george, shows how social i was this summer haha sorry.. cute pictures!
I think that I agree with Holly. Next year you should be getting nice and fat (well, as fat as Hailey will ever be able to get) cooking a baby in your belly! Stop hiking all round the mountains and getting into a swim suit while I am getting chubbier and chubbier on my couch! Love you!
That looks like a great way to work off the turkey and stuffing I shnarfed this year! Would you carry my pack for me if I couldn't make it? :)
