While Dave has been applying and interviewing for jobs I am living the "Pride and Prejudice" life. I love, love that movie and it's been fun to read, paint, do crafts, and play the piano as much as I want. I feel like Elizabeth Bennet and her other four sisters who work on their talents to "catch" a good husband. Lucky for me I didn't need amazing talents to meet Dave but it has been fun finding craft ideas...something I never got to do while in school.
This painting took me most of the month of October to finish. It was a paint by numbers and it was oober-fun! I love looking at it because I feel so artsie, I have never done a painting like this before.
My question for anyone who might read this blog is; What would you do with your time if you had two months of vacation?

That is beautiful, Hailey! I don't know what I would do with two months of vacation..probably won't ever happen, so I guess I don't need to spend too long thinking about it! :)
I would spend tons of time spoiling my kids and going to disneyworld. :)
The painting looks awesome! You shouldn't have told that it was a paint-by-number. :)
I think you should clean your mom's house and surprise her!
ever since i saw this picture, it's made me really want to do a paint by numbers. I used to LOVE doing them. You've inspired me!
