While Dave and I are still job searching we are finding plenty to do. Dave went to a mutual activity on Wednesday. The priests were invited to some guys car garage in West Kaysville. This guy has been collecting cars for years and takes extraordinarily good care of each of them. Each car is wrapped in it's own temperature controlled bubble...yeah. There were 50 cars in this garage and most came from the early 50's, 60's, and 70's. Dave is more of a Lamborghini-Ferrari kind of guy but he still enjoyed it.
The lighting in the garage was kind of weird but you get the idea.

Now that we're done with school I really get to enjoy the Christmas season. I understand why universities save finals before Christmas instead of after but it really ruins the Christmas spirit. So, to kick start the festivities I had to make paper snowflakes. I found this awesome book on paper snowflakes for all seasons and have made a bunch for the windows.

Can you see the bells?

Like the rest of Utah we are getting tons of snow. Last night Nathan and I built a ramp in the backyard for sledding and snowboards, I love snow. Today we woke up to even more snow and I found Dave outside shoveling off the driveway, what a babe!
For those who may be curious, Dave still hasn't found a job. He's applied and applied but the current market for Finance isn't the best, actually it's just really awful. We're still hopeful and he has a couple more options to pursue. In the mean time we're enjoying my family and I'm crossing my fingers that we'll be able to go skiing this week!

Those cars are nuts! I couldn't imagine owning that many cars.
Best wished on the job hunt. I know how stressful that is. We'll be praying for you.
Thanks for the job update--I'm so sorry! I'm sure it will work out...it's just having the patience until it does. (Maybe this is like your own NICU experience!) :) Anyway, we're just happy to have you close for a little longer. Is there any way we can get together again before the holidays? We leave next Monday, the 22nd and will be gone until Jan 8th. Good luck with everything, and hopefully you'll get to go skiing!
You and dave need to come hang out with matt and i because our lives sound pretty much the same...finally free to rome and do whatever:)
Oh and i think you guys are just destined to come work for APX just one more year! don't worry, i will make it even more fun than last year.
