Dave in Clay

Nathan, my mom, and I had a blast this weekend playing with modeling clay. We were inspired by a movie Dave made in college with some roommates (yes you Curt). They basically made a clay-mation and it is hilarious. My vision for our clay-mation included a dance off but I had way too much fun making things and not enough patience taking all the pictures.

This little guy is supposed to look like a gansta' Dave. Nathan's clay-guy was so hard core I had to do the same for Dave.

This is the whole gang! They kind of look like a bunch of hoodlums but it was more fun to make bandannas and dreadlocks. My mom made the girl, I made the two in the center, and Nate made the guy on the right. My moms is the best, that chicka's hair is awesome.

Doing things like this, with my family, makes me so grateful that I have the chance to live so close to them (like in their basement).

How funny! I'm pretty impressed--they look great! Curt called me from work asking where we saved that clay-mation video, so that's my task for today: to find it. We'll send it to you if/when we find it!
