Potato Peel Pie

I just read the best book! It's a series of letters written after WW2. The main character is a writer and she is looking for a new subject for a book. There are some serious parts but the best love story you will ever read. Now that I'm done with the book I want a pen pal. I also think I need to find a recipe for potato peel pie...what would that even taste like? Read it and I promise you won't be disappointed.
