Miss Independence

Kiley

My darling girl. Why is it you have to do everything your way? Today I decided you were the one in charge. So, we walked to the park and you pushed your stroller with your ball and Yodel the dog along for the ride. We went down the spiral slide enough times to make mommy sick. You spent most of your time running through the wet sand with no shoes. I didn't tell you when it was time to go. I let you decide when we were done. I learned that you are much happier doing things on your schedule. Maybe we should do this more often.

Love,
    Mom

Your little girl has such a wonderful mom! I can't tell you how many times I have thought- what a blessing you are to David and how grateful I am that you are a part of our family. Love you very much, Leslie

What a good mom! Almost 100% of my troubles with Tucker are when I'm trying to tell him what to do or get him to do things my way. Maybe I should learn from you & just let him decide for awhile. Kiley is lucky to have you as her mom! And I love you new philosophy on blogging! I'm excited to read more! :)
