Grandpa's 80th Birthday

This is very late but we wanted to post the pictures for those who weren't able to make it to the party....! We got a cute invitation in the mail from Dave's Grandma inviting us to a birthday party for Dave's Grandpa. It was fun going up to Syracuse to see lots of Dave's family. They had a delicious cake made for the occasion. Too bad we had eaten at my house right before that so I was so stuffed! I could hardly eat a whole piece but Dave enjoyed it. For his present all the members of Dave's extended family wrote "memory letters" to their Grandpa. Dave wrote a very sweet letter of the memories he has of his Grandpa. What a great present! It's always fun to be with Dave's family and it's a crazy coincidence that they all live so close to where I grew up.
