Last weekend was our Halloween party for the ward. We dressed up as golfers (even though neither of us have ever been golfing in real life). We managed to find all the right clothes and accessories we needed to make us look like professionals (except for the clubs which are about 20 years old give or take 5 years).
The Halloween party was a lot of fun. We were a little bit early and were asked to take part in a game the ward missionary had put together called Family Feud. It was very fun and our competitive sides came out helping us win a complete shutout.
There was also pumpkin carving where Hailey and I carved a skull and cross bones. We used a cut out design which was waaay too small for our pumpkin... lesson learned for next year. There was also a bunch of treats that ta
sted very good, and someone (probably my new best friend) had the idea of making cookies out of my favorite fun fetti cake batter, which has now become one of my favorite desserts ever.

You guys look pretty darn cute! And whoever took that middle picture did a great job! :)
Great costumes! I could have used those clothes a couple of weeks ago when I used my 30 year old golf clubs and hit the links for the first time in 3 years. Needless to say, I have a lot of room for improvement! Looks like a great party. We did our traditional 'trunk or treat' last Saturday night at the church building with both wards. Vans and cars pull in with their trunks open and decorated and the kids walk from van to van soliciting candy. Leslie (Mom) had made these huge teeth for the van and along with Scott's strobe light and scaring music we made an impression on the little kids.
