Last week Dave and I went kayaking with Dave's family. They have a beautiful lake just 10 minutes from their house (who knew)! Before Dave and I got married I went on a vacation with my family to Lake Tahoe and San Francisco. There are so many good memories from that trip and one of them was kayaking around Lake Tahoe. I love lakes and I love kayaking so we had a great time last week enjoying the sun and very cold water.
As you can see from the picture below I was the muscles behind us moving at all...ha ha. I'd like to believe I could keep up with Dave but he'll always have more muscle than me (thank goodness).

How fun, and what a beautiful lake! Speaking of cold water...Curt and I drove through the canyon this weekend, and we couldn't help but think of all the fond (and freezing!) memories we have of tubing down the river with you guys. If I wasn't pregnant, and if you guys were here, we might be tempted to do it again! (Crazy as it sounds after our last experience!) It looks like you had a much more enjoyable experience kayaking.
That looks so fun! Brit and I were just saying how we wanted to go to the lake! How far is that one? Want to go Kayaking again?? With the girls? :)
