Last Sunday Dave and I were at the Kunz house for lunch. I was talking to Sarah about borrowing some of her fingernail polish since she has quite a collection of it. I was immediately drawn to the blue nail polish and since Sarah was already wearing the exact same color on her nails I thought I'd try it...I've never really worn any color of nail polish outside of the usual pink/red hue. I was surprised to find that after I painted my nails everything that matched them jumped out at me....who knew bright blue was so common! I put my camera in my purse and took pictures of things that matched my blue nails.
This blue post-it love note that Dave put in my work folder...what a sweet husband!
The "fitness orbs" at work (ha ha that's an Office joke).
Our new ice cube tray. They make very cool ice cube shapes.
If I had little girls I would paint their fingernails different colors and have them match the colors to things they see...what a great way to learn your colors. Alas, Dave and I are the only two in our family right now so my creative ideas will just have to wait!

What a great idea! I'll put it on the back burner until I have a girl. Actually, I might use it with Levi in a few months (and take the polish off before Jason comes home).
Hailey, you are so funny! That is a really good idea to help your kids learn their colors, though. (I doubt Curt will let me paint our little boy's fingernails, however...) Maybe I'll try it just for fun! :)
Your are too funny! I am a nail polish FREAK. For Christmas Halle got these nail polish pens so that she can draw pictures and stuff on her nails. They ROCK!!! You should totally get some!
You and Dave could always learn spanish with your nails. For example, azul means blue. Next week you can do verde. I will let you learn on your own, what color that is.
