Happy Fourth of July

Dave and I celebrated the Fourth of July in Philadelphia with some friends. We ate ice cream at Penns Landing...as much as you could eat for $5. After eating Ben and Jerry's out of business we went to the Museum of Art and watched the parade. There was so much diversity!

This little black umbrella was good for about 10 minutes but it's never fun trying to squeeze four adults underneath an umbrella meant for one. We finally sat under the trees for the rest of the night.

Once it got dark they started a show on the steps of the museum. Nothing too exciting unless you're a die-hard John Legend fan...oh you don't know who that is either, shocking!

The wait for fireworks was definitely worth it and it was fun to celebrate the independence of our country in the same city it all originated from.

You two have so many fun adventures! :)

I had to google John Legend...just to see. He's worked with some pretty awesome artists!

Looks like fun! We're sad we didn't get to watch fireworks with you guys this year. (We didn't even watch ANY fireworks, which was sad!) Hopefully we'll be able to do that together again in the future sometime! We miss you guys and are counting down the days until you return! :)
