We had a huge snow storm last week that dumped at least 2 feet in two days. The snow was ideal for building snowmen so Dave started the base of the snowman. After rolling once across the yard he needed help so I pushed and then my dad came to push and Ty joined us quickly after that. We rolled it once across the backyard and then pushed the snowball into the front yard. We were tempted to push it across the street into my neighbors driveway- hee hee good luck moving that-don't worry we didn't.
Notice the snowman has no middle or head, I'd like to see anyone try to get snowballs on top of the one we had sitting there!! I had a really hard time for some reason climbing on top of the snowball I'm pretty sure I only did it once with no help...hooray.

Since Dave's mom is out here visiting we thought we'd take her snowshoeing up Adam's Canyon. Dave and I did the hike several times last fall but with all the snow in the canyon it became five times harder than usual. Leslie was such a trooper! For someone who has never been snowshoeing before she did great.

The climb up to the waterfalls got really intense because the snow was above our thighs and it was a deep powder. The climb back down was even more interesting since our snowshoes acted more like skis so we slid on our rumps most the time. It was a beautiful hike though and Leslie would tell you it was a good experience, not one she would repeat, but a good experience!

WOW!!! What a good sport. I would have waited with my hot chocolate at the lodge until you got back. I mean really...someone needs to stay behind to send the search party just in case. When you think about it, I'm like a hero.
Oh I have such a good-looking flamily! Why do you guys do all the fun stuff when I'm not there!?! Miss you- xoxo
