Whenever it's a windy day I always think of Winnie the Pooh and the blustery day in the Hundred Acre Woods. Well, we have had a couple "blustery" days this week. Dave and I took advantage of the wind and flew our dollar kites in the pit park.
We were pretty proud of ourselves...two adults able to fly their kites higher than any of the other kids there. We watched three little boys work so hard to get their kite in the air, maybe we should have helped, but I think the best part about flying kites, when you're young, is being able to get that kite in the air on your own.
Dave's laptop gave out on him last November and so he's been in the market for a new one. After lots of research and many trips to Best Buy he finally got a little netbook. He was so excited to get it that he kept peaking out the window like a little kid waiting for the UPS truck to come. It's a great looking laptop and was super cheap, can't beat that!
