I have a really hard time finding books that I like to read. Nothing too sad, bloody/gory, nothing that's going to make me blush, or wish I'd never read. Just like movies these books are hard to come by so I thought I'd share two that I just finished reading and loved.
The first book I read was inspiration to the max! Every night I read I wanted to go out serve others and change the world for the better. The story is about a climber whose failed attempts climbing K2 pushed him to recognize the needs of others in Pakistan. It gives you a great look as to what happened before and after 911...something I was oblivious to. If you want something that will inspire you to serve, read this book!
The second book was totally different but probably one of my favorite. It's about a family in Montana whose mother has died and they are looking for a house keeper. At the beginning it reminded me a lot of Sarah Plain and Tall but the book ends with such a twist that it made me like the book even more.
I've also been wanting to post about this awesome blog I go to every day. I have it listed on my blog on the right side. Check out Your Heart Out if you live in the Provo-SLC area. They have so many fun restaurant reviews and fun boutique places to go...they basically do all the finding for you. Oh, and on the weekends they tell you some fun places to check out if you've got nothing to do.

i LOVED 3 cups of tea as well! Some others if you don't mind recommendations are Left to Tell. It's about a girl that survives the Rwandan genocide. Leadership and self-deception. sounds like a lame book but very inspirational and makes you see people differently. Anyway, those are 2 of my favs that i've read recently!
