It's not like I'm so busy I can't get on here and blog and it's not like Dave and I aren't doing anything! I think I just get frustrated putting together posts....does anyone else have a problem with adding pictures to their blogs? It takes me forever just to get the pictures in the right place on the post, what am I doing wrong?
On Monday Dave celebrated his 27th birthday! Good thing he's going to be a dad soon cause 30 is looking closer every month. Mondays are crazy for us so we ended up celebrating the whole weekend. We finally saw Avatar on Saturday (we're probably the last 2 people on earth to have seen it for the first time). There were moments where I felt like it was a little long but enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. Sunday we had dinner with my family and Monday we went out to dinner just the two of us. As part of Kunz family tradition we did the toilet paper trail. You string a trail of toilet paper around the house and place presents along it for the birthday person to pick up. I know when Dave was a kid he loved it and I can't wait to do it with our kids.

This past week I've spent a lot of time organizing. I don't know if the "nesting" instinct is kicking in or if that's just me being me. I love to organize and clean so I guess when this nesting stuff does hit Dave's in trouble cause I usually drag him into my cleaning projects, lucky boy. One of my projects last week was cleaning out all our kitchen cupboards. Not really a big deal since our kitchen is so tiny but I've been putting off the cupboard under the sink for awhile. I don't know how other people store their grocery bags but I, like my mother, ball up all of my bags and shove them under my sink. What a shock I got when I pulled out all those bags and realized I had enough bags to cover our entire kitchen floor. So, I decided to make a sweet little garbage snowman since snow has been somewhat scarce this winter, not complaining.
He's wearing my 3-D glasses from Avatar. A stylish hat and scarf complete the ensemble. I do love his nose which was created from a corn cob holder.
Dave and I finally got our girlies furniture in one room. We got the crib from my parents, it's actually the same crib my mom used with me and my three siblings. The dresser and rocking chair are from my grandparents. The dresser belonged to my great grandma while the rocking chair came from who knows where and needs the cushions on it reupholstered (the crafty part of me wants to try doing it myself but the sane part of me says I should pay someone else). As soon as we're done decorating the room I'll put pics on here, it's going to be darling. In the meantime, we love looking in her room and thinking of her in there bundled up and sleeping like an angel, I really am nieve about parenthood! Less than eight weeks to go!

A blog post! I was just about ready to be your friendly reminder :) I love your "nieve-ness" about parenthood, if you want a true reality check come to my house around three in the morning. BUT ignorance is bliss!
Happy Birthday Dave! And Hailey, your snowman is adorable. :)
