Our Baby is 1

That year went by in a blink of an eye! Kiley is our everything and we love her so much I think I times we could burst from it. What did we ever do without this sweet girl in our lives?

Her birthday was very low key. She woke up to us singing happy birthday to her. She wasn't sure what to think but hey she thought it was pretty fun. We then had her walk down her first toilet paper trail. Amazing enough she stuck with grabbing her presents instead of shredding the toilet paper. I guess when it's off the roll it's not nearly as fun :).

She then ate breakfast with her favorite and very loved stuffed animals. We had roll-em-up-and-etums basically a crepe but covered in butter and sugar. Kiley loves them and she especially loved when we added the cinnamon and sugar to hers for the first time.

After breakfast was a nap and then lunch. It was kind of a cold day so we stuck to the house and played inside most of the afternoon. It doesn't get much better than reading a good book in your bathrobe.

For dinner we went out to pizza with our friends Matt and Marci. They were so sweet and got her a card and made her a cute little bracelet. Kiley was in baby heaven. She had yummy pizza to eat and a bracelet to suck on in between.

After dinner we went home and broke out the cake. She was certainly not interested in diving into it so we ended up feeding it to her from a fork. I actually took her hand and plopped it right in the middle of the cake and it actually scared her a little bit. I guess she's just too lady like to tear into a cake, maybe next year.

We celebrated Sunday with my family. Unfortunately, Kiley was running a low grade fever so we passed on the second cake and she went to bed early, poor kid.
