Last night Dave and I went to eat dinner with my family and control their TV from 7-9 pm (American Idol Finale). While we were getting dinner ready my brother Ty was telling us about his bike ride up to the Bountiful temple. He told us about this van that was being an idiot on the road and causing Ty a lot of grief, this is one of the reasons I don't like to ride or run on the road people just don't pay attention. Anyway, Ty ended up behind them and was riding along when all the sudden the car takes a Gatorade bottle and dumps it out causing the liquid to fly back and soak Ty...are you kidding me! Who does that?
Well, Dave proceeded to tell us about a time when he was a freshman in college and him and some friends were walking back to the dorms. They were on a busy road and a car drives past them and chucks a cup of soda out the window. The car was driving towards them, so you can imagine, that a car driving 40 mph and then a cup full of soda being thrown out the window would cause some damage. Well, it hit one of Dave's friends in the stomach and knocked him into the bushes. Luckily he had a soft landing! Dave and some other guys proceeded to take out their keys and run after the car. Boys will be boys...at least they could have gotten a license plate number.
So, I'm already shocked enough that people are stupid enough to think this is funny. My dad tells us about a time when he was really young and his dad took him to Lagoon. He was on one of those little tracks with the cars that you can drive. Well, he turns a corner and there's a fence where people can watch you drive by. This guy dumps a huge cup of coke on my dads head and laughs at him as he drives by. When he gets to the end my dad is in tears and was wet and sticky the rest of the day!
Why do people think it's funny to cause other people pain? We can all think of a time where someone has made our day a little harder. What can we do instead to make life easier for someone else? This post is maybe a little serious but it's been on my mind. More to come of the going-ons of David and Hailey Kunz!

Has this ever happened to you?

I'm amazed that people feel okay about themselves when they do things like that. What terrible things! By the way, sorry I missed your call last night--I didn't see it until after 10:00, and I figured that was too late to call you back.
Agreed! Would people just keep their liquid beverages to themselves and control their animals! Argh!
Just the other day I was at a park with my in-laws and all of a sudden we were sprayed with water. Turns out some nasty children were on top of the bathroom building and were chucking water balloons at people. Oooh boy Chris gave them a talking to :)
One time my sister had gum thrown in her hair at an amusement park. It baffles me how rude people can be!
