Christmas has come and gone again as it always does. Now we're all stuck in that limbo of deciding when do the Christmas decorations come down? For the Kunz family I'm thinking we'll keep it out at least until the new year.
We had a quiet Christmas at home just the 3 of us. The previous week was spent in rain-soaked California, with my family, where we battled the gales and went to Disneyland and the beach. The rain kept most people out of Disneyland making our longest wait for a ride 20 minutes at the most. We rode our favorites a couple times which included Indiana Jones, Tower of Terror, and Space Mountain.
My dad was like a little kid again, he practically ran from ride to ride telling us each ride was his absolute favorite. My dad is the kind of person you want to have with you on vacation, he's just so fun. My mom (she's the best). graciously stayed behind to play with Kiley all day. I know Ky wouldn't have enjoyed being wet and cold all day long...I actually don't think my mom would have enjoyed it either :).
We spent the first part of the week in Anaheim and the second part of the week in Newport Beach. If I could retire and move anywhere Newport would definitely be on the list. It was beautiful, even in the rain. We had a momentary break in the clouds where we went to the board walk and walked along the beach. Kiley was not a fan of the roaring waves, which is funny to me. You would think that would be a soothing noise, almost like the womb. I know the wind probably didn't help and it was pretty cold so she ended up looking like this most of the time.
We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!
